Detective Peng Ze ventures into this isolated region to investigate a series of disappearances, his clues leading to the ancient Hejia Village. During his investigation, an unexpected accident plunges him into the village's hidden depths.

Amid grotesque monsters, bizarre murders, and layers of deception, Peng Ze finds himself questioning reality itself.
