App to watch TV programs of NHK
NHK Plus is a video streaming service that enables you to watch NHK's terrestrial broadcast programs on the Internet.
● Simultaneous broadcasting
You can watch TV programs of General TV, Educational TV of NHK at the same time as the broadcast of them.
● Rewinding Play
During the broadcast, you can return to the beginning or middle of the program to watch.
● Catchup
You can watch General TV and E-TV programs for 7 days after the broadcast ends.
● Playlist
TV programs are arranged by genre and theme, making it easier to find programs.
● Subtitles, bilingual and commentary broadcasts are also available.
-Service area
NHK Plus is available only in Japan. Judgment is based on the IP address of the customer's internet connection.
-Notice of App Transition
The current NHK Plus app will no longer be available after September 30, 2025.
Starting October 1, 2025, a new NHK Plus app with additional features will be released. Please download the updated app from the store once it becomes available on October 1.
