Showman is an augmented reality (AR) viewer used to find things of interest at Exhibitions, Shows, Expo's and Events directly on your phone camera's screen to make your day both more interesting and efficient.

This version is for the GSMA MWC 2019 in Barcelona taking place from 25th to 28th February 2019.

Once downloaded no wi-fi or cellular network connection is needed in order for it to work, so you can use when out and about where there is no signal coverage.

All areas within the MWC Congress will be covered including the outside exhibitions. Halls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.0, 8.1 and the outside areas including the Grand Congress are included. We are working on the other Halls so please update the app for the completed guide nearer your day.

In fact there are around 3,000 exhibitor stands and things of interest at the exhibition: such as cafes, restaurants, stairs, exits amd entrances, viewable within the App.

Showman features include:

- interactive objects
- a settings menu (using which the categories of points of interest you wish to display can be easily selected)
- an on screen distance slider (for an interactive depth of view filter)
- an on screen zoom (using an on screen pinch to zoom gesture)
- a snap shot camera (for annotating your photos)
- a video recorder for saving and sharing interesting places on social media (accessed by holding the camera icon for 1 second)
- hold face down for radar view of everything around you
- on screen help menu (press the Logo)
- simulate option if you are outside region
- map

And remember the objects are fully interactive so you can click on them to find out more about an exhibitor.
