App Description

You’ve heard the stories: Gear lost on tour. Cherished guitars lost to thievery. None of us want to dwell on all the ways we could involuntarily part with our beloved items, but some peace of mind would be nice, no? Let us explain.

Imagine if you could easily organize every item in your gear collection on your iPhone, including photos and automatically scanned serial numbers. And imagine if that gear library was seamlessly synced and backed up to the cloud, assuring you’d never lose it, as well as giving you instant access on all your devices. Oh, and wouldn’t it be nice to share gear libraries with bandmates, studio collaborators and friends? [drum roll] Welcome to Roster!

If anything were to ever go wrong (knock on wood), with a single tap you can generate and send a PDF with all the information needed for your insurance company or a police report.

It’s also great fun to browse in bed late at night, or browse through your friend’s library and get inspired to ask for that big “can I borrow your X indefinitely for my upcoming 4 volume album?” favor.

Anyway, there’s a lot more, but if you’re still not convinced to download we don’t know what to say! Give it a try, and we’re pretty confident you’ll find it useful (and dare we hope delightful).

PS Just because we’re musicians and made Roster mainly with our fellow musicians in mind, doesn’t mean you can’t use it to also keep track of things like photography gear, gaming gear, scuba gear, snowboarding gear, any kind of gear really!
