Pocket Expenses comes with some standard categories for deductible expenses, but you can change them and add your own. It supports both one-time and recurring expenses.

Pocket Expenses remembers your expenses forever, so it becomes more useful the longer you use it. The basic app navigation automatically summarizes your expenses by category or by year, making comparisons really simple. Each year and category summary, as well as their intersections, can display a pie graph or bar chart for quick visual understanding of your spending.

At any time, but especially at the end of the year, Pocket Expenses can email you summary CSV reports: itemized expenses by year, recurring expenses by year, and summarized expenses by category - perfect to use in doing your taxes, or handing off to your accountant. The email sending function is entirely local on your device, so your information is kept private.
