Oklahoma Municipal League (OML)’s Empowered Directory helps anyone Register as OML members, and helps members Search, Select and Connect. The members are spread-out across various locations and connect via several email domains (not limited to oml.org). Having a publicly available App will help the interested potential/prospect members to register as OML members via the Sign up link in the App.

Old directories were based on knowing the right person’s last name, but OML’s Empowered Directory lets you search and get updates based on many different criteria and filters, including a toggle for proximity search. Then, the best matches are displayed on a search-results page that allows you to compare and contrast criteria.

Click on any results to get detailed profiles, including education, certifications, maps to location, presentations and more. Then reach out through built-in communication tools to email, telephone or chat live, while staying up-to-date on issues of interest to all of OML through push notifications, web links and announcements.

Now that all OML members have all of this knowledge and reach right in their pockets, their shared work as the nucleus of local government throughout the state is easier. They can connect with mayors, city managers, municipal and state officials, experts, vendors and every other leader statewide, as well as each of their resources, so that they and their cities can benefit from shared knowledge.
