Get Motive

Motive helps a user determine which activities and restaurants suit their mood or preference while highlighting the best the city has to offer. The app provides filters that refine activity/food recommendations based on location, interests and users’ moods. Based on the results the user can select a restaurant or activity and then choose to extend their outing by pairing it with another selection to create a unique experience.

We aim to display the most engaging results by having a team of local guides who help us determine the best locations to visit for a given area. We highlight these results in the app by giving them preference and displaying a short form video created by the local guides or the business. These locations are combined with results created through our algorithm which takes into account the user’s vicinity, rating and number of ratings.
