App Description

Ever been in the field, a meeting or someones office and needed to check a pipe or flange rating. If so this is app for you.

Calculations are based on the ASME B31.3 2008 Process Piping code. Piping and Flange Calculator determines the required pipe schedule and ANSI flange rating based on the user inputted pressure, temperature, and corrosion allowances.

The results screen shows complete calculation details including both the calculated thickness, minimum suggested pipe schedule, stress value, pressure, temperature, and corrosion allowances.

It contains a wide of pipe sizes (1/2" to 24") and database of materials (carbon and stainless steel) including:

Piping and Flange Calculator works for both welded and threaded piping systems. The user can quickly see the selected pipe schedule and flange rating on the main input screen as well as the complete detailed calculations.

It is a very useful tool for anyone involved with the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries (i.e. engineers, designers, plant operators, etc)

Users can enter the data with sliders or using the keypad.

The user is also able to use whatever units they feel most comfortable with.
