App Description
Denver Attractions 100 (DA 100) provides a list of approximately 100 attractions (places to see, things to do) in and around the Denver Metro. These attractions vary greatly from large to tiny, paid, and unpaid, some typical (of a large metro area) and some unexpected or off-beat venues.
As of this apps publication, listed attractions were operational. However please verify the attraction you want to visit is indeed still operational as things obviously can change.
Also you will want to review the attraction’s website to determine if it is appealing and or appropriate to your situation. Some attractions may require an advance ticket purchase and or reservation. Finally these are listed out in no particular arrangement and no sponsorship or business arrangements exist between the app developer and any of the attractions and appearing on this list is not an endorsement of that attraction but merely a reference to its existence.
DA 100 works as follows:
Two List are provided.
List 1 (white background) - is an embedded, non-editable, list of 100 things to see and do .
Tapping the Name of any attraction adds that attraction to the optional Short List (SL).
The SL is offered as a way for you to create a narrowed down list of attractions you would like to visit.
Tap “Show SL” to Only see the short list in a view by itself. Swipe down or tap Dismiss to close the SL view
Swiping left to right yields two icons
- network (indigo background); tap to see that attraction’s Website
picture frame (brown background); tap to see a larger version of the image for that attraction and the image source / attribution
Swiping right to left yields two icons to sort by city and or attraction.
The swipe left to right options are slightly different for the embedded list and the Short List. The Short List right swipe includes a city sort option (along with network/website and image) but no attraction sort option.
There is no delete option for the embedded list whereas delete is an option for the Short List.
Tap “Save SL” to save the attractions you’ve selected for the short list. Your Short List selections will then auto-populate the Short List when the app is re-opened.
