Welcome to the Chester Metropolitan District portal! The Chester Metropolitan District is a Special Purpose District created by the SC legislature in 1959, and serves as the public water supply authority in Chester County. CMD distributes water along SC Highway 9, SC Rt. 99, the US 21 corridor, and to the municipalities of Chester, Fort Lawn, Great Falls, and Richburg. On the CMD app you are able to view your usage, your current bill, and pay your balance. Important notifications concerning systemwide service are also shown within the app. Our goal is to provide you with the latest and most accurate CMD news and information.
