SHMM organizes maintenance tasks into projects to help users achieve their home maintenance goals efficiently.

Types of SHMM Projects:
The app categorizes projects into four (4) types:
1. Recurring – Repeated at regular intervals.
2. One-Time – Single-instance tasks.
3. Sequential – Tasks that must be completed in order.
4. Group – Multiple related tasks bundled together.

Preloaded Projects for a Quick Start:
The app comes with seven (7) ready-made projects to get you started:
• Recurring: "Gutters and Downpipes," "Smoke Detectors," "Smoke Detector Batteries"
• One-Time: "Door Locks"
• Sequential: "Dividing Fence Replacement"
• Group: "Stainless Steel Flexible Hoses – Cycle 1 & Cycle 2"

Easy Project Setup:
The app includes a picklist of over 50 common maintenance projects, streamlining data entry. To create a Recurring project, simply:
1. Select a project from the picklist (or enter a custom one).
2. Optionally add budget hours and costs.
3. Set a start date.
4. Choose an interval (daily, weekly, monthly, 3/6 months, 1/2/5/10 years).
5. Select the number of repeats (1 to 120).
6. Tap a button—the app automatically generates the project and its tasks!

Once created, users can add, edit, reschedule, or delete tasks as needed.
