App Description

Hi! I’m a solo developer who wanted to create the perfect social deduction party game you can play anywhere with friends. No complicated setup, no extra materials — just real conversations, bluffing, and laughter. One of you is secretly the Impostor… or Imposter. Can you find out who’s lying before it’s too late?

Impostor - Party Game is an online social game for 3–12 players. It’s designed for real-life interaction: the app gives you words, questions, and structure, while the actual fun happens face-to-face. Perfect for parties, game nights, birthdays, school trips, cozy evenings, office breaks, student dorms, holidays, family gatherings, and any moment when you want a fast, fun, shared game experience.

HOW IT WORKS
Players join the same online room using a short code. At the start of each game, one player becomes the Impostor, while everyone else is a Civilian. The Impostor gets different or limited information and must blend in. Civilians try to spot suspicious behavior, analyze answers, and expose the liar. Each round ends with a vote, and every decision matters.

You can choose between two unique modes, each offering a different style of bluffing, guessing, and social tension.

WORD MODE
A mode for creative clues and clever misdirection.
All players receive the same secret word — except the Impostor, who sees only a vague hint or nothing at all.
Players take turns giving associations without revealing the word directly. After three rounds, the group discusses: who sounds unsure? Who’s overexplaining? Who’s acting too confident?
Stay subtle, think carefully, and try not to give the Impostor enough information to guess the word before you catch them.

QUESTION MODE
A mode for improvisation and quick thinking.
Everyone receives the same question, while the Impostor receives a completely different one.
The host reads the question aloud, and players answer normally — trying not to stand out. The Impostor must improvise and pretend to know what the others are talking about.
After each set of answers, players debate, accuse, and vote. Will your poker face save you, or will someone catch a tiny slip?

ROLES
Civilian — has the real word or real question
Impostor/Imposter — gets different or limited info and must fake it convincingly
Every round becomes a small hidden-roles mystery full of tension, humor, and unexpected turns.
