Let's get into the rules!

Objective:
Unlike many other card games, the goal in Durak is not to win, but to avoid losing. The player who is left with cards when all others have played theirs is declared the "Durak" (the fool).

Gameplay:
Durak is typically played with a 36-card deck (removing cards 2–5 from a standard 52-card deck).
Each player is dealt six cards, and a trump suit is determined by drawing a random card from the deck.
The game follows an attacking and defending turn-based system. The attacking player attempts to "beat" the defender’s cards using higher-ranked or trump cards.
If the defender successfully blocks all attacks, the turn passes. If not, they must pick up the attacking cards.
Play continues until the deck is depleted, and players attempt to get rid of all their cards.

Strategy & Fun:
Durak is a game of deception, quick decision-making, and tactical planning. Easy but challenging: collect the most valuable cards and use your trumps wisely! Players must manage their hand carefully, deciding when to attack aggressively and when to defend strategically. Play with your friends! Make NEW friends! Alliances may form temporarily, but in the end, only one player avoids becoming the fool!
