App Description

"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage" - Anaïs Nin

Slay you Dragons helps you to face your fears by breaking them down into manageable steps. Completing them rewards you treasure based on the difficulty of the challenge. Often hen things are going your way, what you need is where you least want to look.

Start small by confronting everyday dragons — like unopened bills, unread emails, or awkward conversations. Then progress to bigger challenges: physical fears, phobias, and eventually, the dragons of your past.

The world can be conceptualised as containing 2 states: the known and the unknown. In encountering the unknown there are 2 responses: One is to run away, the other is the voluntary exposure to the unknown. It is the second exploratory mode that allows you to overcome your fears, not because you get less afraid but because you show yourself that you are tougher than you thought and you get more courageous because of it. This is a daunting task but the dragon can be scaled down to one that is manageable. This is why all steps and difficulty are decided by you so you can move towards goals that you both can and want to do.

EXPOSURE THERAPY
• Break down fears into a hierarchy of increasing difficulty
• Track and execute each step till you conquer your fear
• Confront memories of the past
• Earn gold based on the difficulty of each task

STATISTICS

• View detailed distributions and statistics of your quests
• Filter for daily, weekly, monthly and year insights

It's better to face the small dragon in its cave then when it fully grown and comes to find you!

WARNING
It is helpful to face the memories of traumatic events that have happened more than 18 months ago, however facing them before 18 months can make things worse, It is better to let them settle first.
