Driver App is a professional ride-management application built to support drivers offering safe, verified, and accessibility-friendly transportation services. The app is specially designed to ensure passenger safety, driver authenticity, and smooth ride execution, including services for people with disabilities.
The registration process is detailed and security-focused. Drivers are required to submit personal information such as full name (as per driving license), mobile number with OTP verification, email address, date of birth, and residential address. Identity verification includes uploading a valid driving license (front and back), with optional submission of Police Check Certificates and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) cards to support disability transport compliance.
Vehicle registration is a key part of the onboarding process. Drivers must specify vehicle type (Car, Van, or Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle), upload registration certificates, insurance documents, and provide vehicle make, model, and registration number. Additional vehicle accessibility features such as wheelchair ramps, locking systems, swivel seats, grab handles, audio or visual assistance, and spacious interiors can be declared to support passengers with special needs. Drivers also confirm whether they are trained to assist people with disabilities.
Once registration is completed, drivers are prompted to add mandatory Australian bank details, including account holder name, bank name, BSB number, and account number. Until bank details are added, ride notifications remain disabled to ensure seamless payouts.
All driver profiles undergo admin review and approval before activation. Any future change to mobile numbers requires OTP re-verification for security.
The ride flow is designed for efficiency and transparency. When a customer books a ride, the system searches for available drivers within a 5 km radius and sends requests sequentially, starting with the nearest driver. Drivers have a limited time to accept or reject requests. Upon acceptance, both driver and customer can view essential trip and contact details.
Navigation opens automatically to guide drivers to the pickup location. Ride start requires OTP verification from the customer, ensuring only verified trips begin. After reaching the destination, drivers mark the ride as completed, and payment is processed only after custo
