Badges & Achievements
The app includes an optional achievement badge system to encourage consistent use.
Badges are awarded for objective milestones (e.g., cumulative weight loss amounts such as 5 lbs, 10 lbs, etc.).
These badges:

Do not gate features
Do not promote unhealthy behavior
Are purely motivational and informational
Can be ignored entirely by the user


Food Logging & Scanning
Users can add food entries in multiple ways:
Manual search using the USDA FoodData Central database
Barcode scanning for packaged foods
Photo-based food entry, which assists users in logging meals visually
All nutrition data retrieved includes calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, and sugar.
