HOW IT WORKS:
Your iPhone has a built-in magnetometer (the same sensor that powers your compass). Stud Finder Pro measures changes in the magnetic field to detect metal fasteners like nails and screws that hold drywall to wooden studs.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS:
- Remove your phone case before scanning
- Hold your phone flat against the wall
- Move slowly and steadily in one direction
- Metal studs are detected directly. Wood studs are found via their metal fasteners.

IMPORTANT: This app detects ferromagnetic metals only. It cannot detect wood directly, plastic pipes, or non-magnetic metals like copper or aluminum.
