App Description
Autism iHelp is a vocabulary teaching aid developed by parents of a child with Autism and a speech-language pathologist. Autism iHelp was inspired by the need for specific language intervention tools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder focusing on their unique strengths and difficulty with expressive vocabulary.
Autism iHelp-Emotions targets your child's basic abilities in labeling, differentiating, and sorting everyday human emotions. In typically developing children, this skill may not need specific practice, but for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, facial expressions, emotions, and feelings are areas that often need deliberate instruction to master. This app allows the learner to see these emotions in a variety of actual faces, providing opportunities for discussion and rehearsal.
Additionally, you are able to track your child's gains through progress reports that average the last 3 performances of each learning enhancement activity.
