Practice music fundamentals — step by step

This app is designed for practicing note reading, scales, intervals, triads, cadences and rhythm in a structured but lightweight way.
It focuses on short, repeatable exercises with immediate feedback, helping learners build confidence through regular practice.


Note & Rest Training

The app generates random notes or rests within a defined range.
You enter the correct name, and the app immediately shows whether your answer was correct.
If not, the correct solution is displayed, allowing quick correction and repetition.

You can:
- choose treble or bass clef
- use Scientific Pitch Notation (C4) or Helmholtz notation (c')
- practice with text input or a piano-style keyboard


Scales, Intervals, Triads & Cadences

Practice common theory topics with focused tasks:
- Scales: enter all notes of a randomly selected scale
- Intervals: identify and enter intervals step by step
- Triads & cadences: build triads based on a given scale and tonal degree

After each task, correct and incorrect notes are highlighted before the next exercise starts.


Rhythm & Beat Training

Rhythm practice focuses on timing and consistency:
- select a tempo and beat pattern
- tap beats and upbeats in time
- visual feedback fades over time to encourage internal timing
- Scores are shown during and after each session.


Ear Training

- Improve pitch recognition by identifying randomly played notes
- Listen, enter the note name, and get instant feedback
- The correct solution is shown after each attempt
- Customize the training by setting the note range and enabling or disabling accidentals


Training Mode

Training mode tracks progress over time for:
- notes
- rests
- scales
- intervals

You can focus on specific areas and gradually increase difficulty while monitoring improvement.


Assessment Mode (Education)

The app supports Automatic Assessment Configuration (AAC):

- students are locked into the app during assessments
- results are saved automatically
- reports can be shared for grading

Supported assessment topics:

- Notes, Rests, Scales, Intervals, Cadences and Triads.

Apple Schoolwork integration is included.


Simple Music Composition

Create basic two-staff scores:

- notes and rests
- clefs and key signatures
- Compositions can be exported as PNG images.
