Recovery Sky is the successor to the tremendously successful and loved AA/NA Live! It is a sky full of virtual recovery meetings in a beautiful online recovery fellowship.
We have started from the ground up to build a new take on virtual recovery. Authentication is no longer necessary to preserve anonymity. All data is local to the device and encrypted to the highest standards. Zoom SDK has been used to directly imbed anonymous video conferencing into the app and the Zoom app is no longer even required! Reliability, speed, simplicity, growth, and longevity are the driving factors in this cycle of development.
Saving the best for last, Recovery Sky will be the first Social Recovery platform using the 100% Open Source Blue Sky and AT Protocol! What does all that techno jargon mean? It means Recovery Sky will evolve and grow over time into a strong and meaningful social network of other people in recovery.
The initial social interaction that I envision is the idea of "meeting buddies", essentially a group of people who try to attend meetings together to help support each other in their recovery. I believe this is a great place to start as going to meetings will always be the core of Recovery Sky!
