App Description

和文モールス練習 Japanese Wabun Morse code practice horizontal lever & iambic paddle

和文モールス練習 Japanese Wabun Morse code practice horizontal lever & iambic paddle

No ads, nags, or in-app purchases. No internet connection required. Fully functional offline Wabun CW Morse code practice app.

This app gives you both straight lever and iambic paddle ホレ Wabun Japanese Morse code CW practice oscillators for Android. Each oscillator translates International Morse code into English with CW prosigns and Wabun Morse code into Japanese kana characters in real time as you practice. To enter Wabun Mode, send the CW prosign NJ -..--- and to return to International Mode, send the CW prosign SN ...-.

You may select English or Japanese language, independent from International Mode or Wabun Mode. You can set the language to Japanese, but still be in International Mode.
Likewise, you can set the language to English and also be in Wabun Mode.

Practice sending International and Wabun Morse code with a straight lever oscillator. Settings include WPM, show/hide Morse code/text, choose sidetone 400Hz-800Hz. Adjust the WPM so that you can produce well formed DITs and DAHs at a comfortable speed.

Practice sending International and Wabun Morse code with an iambic paddle oscillator. Simply touch down on the DIT and DAH paddles instead of pinching, squeezing, or flinging the paddles.

Settings include WPM, CW weight ratio, reverse paddles, show/hide Morse code/text, choose sidetone 400Hz-800Hz.

Touch and hold both paddles to cycle between DIT and DAH and feel the iambic rhythm.

Press and hold the Clear Code/Text button to adjust CW and Text label font sizes.

You may use a real straight key with this app by connecting to your Android device via an easily modified USB mouse.
