Devotion to the 15 Secret Sorrows of Jesus in Portuguese
The persecution of Our Lord Jesus Christ began from his birth with His Blessed Mother having to go to Bethlehem. As an adult he also suffered constant persecution from the Jews, betrayal and abandonment. On the Cross he suffered the greatest torment, the greatest pain. But how great was this pain?
Jesus verbally communicated to the pious and loving Sister Mary Magdalene, of the Order of Saint Clare, who then lived in Rome, with a recognized reputation for holiness, the fifteen secret pains that he endured on the night before His Passion. Jesus answered the request of this Sister who wanted to know, out of love, the tortures that she had suffered in those moments and that until then were unknown.
Jesus Christ appeared to him and said: The Jews considered Me the most dangerous man of their time and treated Me in this way.
