This Android application is a Student Book and Teacher's Guidebook for Class 1 Theme 8 for Elementary School Class 1 Curriculum 2013. In Pdf format.

This activity-based textbook was prepared as a support for the implementation of the enhanced 2013 Curriculum which places great emphasis on achieving student competency in accordance with established graduation standards. Because it is only a support, students and teachers are not expected to use this book as the only textbook that becomes a reference in the teaching and learning process in class.

This book is more of an activity book for students who still need supporting books to enrich students' insight and skills. If necessary, teachers can use the KTSP books that the school already has as support, considering that these books are designed as textbooks that are full of material. Teachers and students can also make use of other relevant learning materials, including encyclopedias, various books that discuss topics related to learning, magazines, newspapers, and so on.

This book was created based on the Basic Competencies that have been prepared by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Likewise, this book has gone through a process of review, evaluation, editing, and received notes and suggestions for improvements made by reviewers and a team of editors under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Unlike the previous Student Book, based on the agreement of the authors and Puskurbuk, this Student Book is not equipped with practice sheets. This is done so that teachers can maximize the activities and exercises throughout the contents of the student's book during the learning process, rather than jumping straight into problem solving exercises. If necessary, teachers can also be creative themselves in making practice questions and assessment materials as needed and adapted to the students' conditions.

The author is well aware that this book is not perfect. In reality, this book is a first draft, and will still be followed by a second draft, before finally being considered perfect in the third or final draft. To achieve this, according to the Ministry of Education and Culture's plans, it will take 3 (three) years.


Hopefully this application can be useful and become a loyal friend in the teaching and learning process at all times.
