About Surah Yaseen:
Sura Yaseen is the thirty sixth sura of the Qur'an. It is a Makki Sura in the juz' twenty second and twenty third of the Qur'an. The surah is called so because it begins with disjoined letters (muqatta'at): "Ya" (ی) and "Sin" (س). According to hadiths, Sura Yasin is one of the most virtuous suras of the Qur'an such that it is referred to as the "Heart of the Qur'an". Sura Yaseen is concerned with the three principles of monotheism, prophethood, and resurrection, as well as the revival of the dead and the members of the body talking on the Day of Judgment.

5. Exalted Status of Believers: Surah Yaseen is also known as “Raafi’ah Khaafidhah,” which exalts the status of believers and distinguishes them from unbelievers. As per a riwayat (narration), Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) expressed his desire for Surah Yaseen to reside in the heart of every one of his ummah (community).

6. Status of a Shaheed: According to one Hadith, those who recite Surah Yaseen every night and then pass away are granted the status of a Shaheed (martyr).
