Optical Braille recognition (Braille OCR). Convert Braille photo to text.
Angelina Braille Reader: optical Braille recognition (Braille OCR) on photo of printed and handwritten Braille: Braille books, textbooks (including double-sided printing), written works. Convert Braille photo and scans to text. It will help typhlopedagogues, visually impeared people, parents of blind children and in other cases when you need to read texts in Braille. After recognition, you will get 1) the original image with added recognized text 2) the recognized text in Braille 3) the decryption of the recognized text in a regular flat letter. English Grade 2 and Grade 1, Russian, German, Polish, Greek, Latvian, Uzbek Braille are supported.

The program is designed to recognize printed and handwritten paper texts. Braille signs and other types of Braille inscriptions can be poorly recognized.
An internet connection is required for operation.
