"ARTLE/Art of Battle" is a refined tactical auto-battler game where Tactical Battle Chess, foresight, and a bit of luck determine the victor. The main objective is to defeat the opponent's King by strategically placing your troops and deploying powerful special units. This Tactical Battle Chess game combines elements of real-time strategy (RTS), tower defense, and auto-chess mechanics into a unique and fast-paced experience. Why We Built This Tactical Battle Chess Game

"ARTLE/Art of Battle" was born from a deep passion for Tactical Battle Chess. As the indie developer behind this project, I've always been a fan of chess, Tactical Battle Chess games, and timeless tactical books like "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu and "Guerilla Warfare" by A.H. Nasution. I'm also captivated by colossal war films such as "Shogun," "Troy," and "300." I greatly admire how people in ancient times endured the harsh realities of war, though I cannot imagine living in such an era myself. This Tactical Battle Chess game is my way of capturing the thrill of grand-scale battles without the intense micromanagement of traditional RTS games. My goal was to build a Tactical Battle Chess game that you could enjoy in short bursts, but that still offered deep strategic possibilities. As an indie developer, this project is a labor of love. Every unit, every ability, and every battle is crafted with the hope of bringing a fun and engaging Tactical Battle Chess experience to players.
