This is a calendar application useful for all the people Orissa (Odisha) and all the Odia (Oriya) people living outside Odisha (Orissa). It shows all festivals important for Oriya people as well as important Indian festivals for 150 years starting 1940, including the calendar for the year 2026.

The most important feature of this calendar application is that this is completely in Odia (Oriya) language.

This calendar app shows the daily Indian Day, Tithi, Rasi and Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana along with their duration and the important days when you tap on a date. It also shows the local Sunrise and Sunset times as well as special times of the day such as: Amruta bela, Mahendra bela, Bara Bela, Kala Bela, Kala Ratri, Rahukala, Gulikakala and Yamaganda. Also, it shows daily Tara suddhi and Ghata Chandra, Ghata Rashi Ghata Nakshatra and Ghata Tithi details. Apart from these, it also shows pictures associated with some special days when you tap on a date.

One can add reminder for a special day by long pressing on a special day on the calendar.

Search button on the action bar can be used to search a festival, rashi, nakashatra, tithi etc.

You can go to a particular month and year, by tapping on corresponding menu on the action bar.

You can change the color and appearance of the screen by selecting various themes from the drop-down menu at the right hand corner of the app.

The application also creates a home screen widget displaying today’s information in Oriya (Odia).

Once the paper calendar for a future year is published, the data of the app will be checked against the paper calendar data, and if any variation is found, it will be corrected.

It also provides 'Rashi Phala' - Daily, Monthly and Annual Rashi Phala, for your Moon based Rashi. You can tap the corresponding menu on the top menu bar of the application.

You can generate any horoscope (Kundali or Rashi Chakra) by selecting 'Jataka' menu. You have to provide date, time and place of birth for this in the dialog box appears. You will get the general predictions, Vimshottari Dasha prediction, Gochara (Transit) prediction and all divisional chart details. Support for both Vedic and Western Astrology is there. Progressive horoscope prediction based on western Astrology is also provided in this app.

You can also do match making based on Odia (Oriya) astrology, by selecting the corresponding menu.

You can add your custom reminders based on Tithi, Rashi or Nakshatra by using specific button on the main screen. These reminders will be notified starting 2 days prior to the events and also will be displayed in the widget.

It also provides daily notifications containing date, weekday, tithi and special day description (Parva Parvani) if any.
