CDL Prep & Practice Test is a free app to prepare for the CDL test. A CDL - commercial driver's license is required to drive or operate a vehicle that carries more than 8 passengers, or exceeds gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), or transports hazardous materials. There is a shortage of commercial drivers in 2022 and salaries are at an all time high. This app contains questions from the actual CDL exam held in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

Types of Commercial Drivers License (CDL):
(1) Class A CDL: Drivers with Class A CDL are authorized to drive any combination of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more if the vehicle you are towing weighs more than 10,000 pounds.
(2) Class B CDL: Drivers with Class B commercial drivers license are authorized to drive any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds+ and any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing not more than 10,000 GVWR.
(3) Class C CDL: Drivers with Class C commercial drivers license are authorized to drive any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds+ and any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing not more than 10,000 GVWR. Vehicles which are used to transport hazardous materials or the 16-passenger van (including yourself).
