Countryside Sudoku is a calm and focused puzzle experience based on classic Sudoku rules, presented in a warm rural atmosphere. The game board is placed within an open countryside landscape featuring fields, gentle hills, and a quiet horizon. A friendly chicken is part of the environment and warmly welcomes the player, creating a relaxed yet attentive mood from the very beginning.

The gameplay follows traditional Sudoku logic. The player is given a 9×9 grid partially filled with numbers from 1 to 9. The objective is to complete the grid so that each number from 1 to 9 appears exactly once in every row, every column, and every 3×3 block. The game offers only one difficulty level, designed to provide a steady and consistent challenge without changing complexity.

Interaction is simple and direct. The player taps a cell and selects a number to place it on the grid. There is no option to create notes or temporary marks, which means every input is a final decision. The player is allowed to make up to three mistakes. Each incorrect number reduces the life indicator, encouraging careful and thoughtful play.

Once all numbers are filled in correctly, the screen flashes green and displays the message “well done.” The total time spent solving the puzzle is shown, motivating the player to try again and improve their result. Time tracking is active throughout the entire game, and the best completion time (the lowest value greater than zero) is saved in the records.

Countryside Sudoku automatically pauses when the application is minimized or the player switches to another app. When the player returns, the game continues from the exact same state. The overall concept focuses on clarity, calm visuals, and pure Sudoku mechanics without distractions.
