This app has no affiliation with any government entity. All links used in this application use public access offered by the public administration.
To validate the certificates (both those included in the DNIe and the digital certificates installed on the device), the FNMT public service hosted at https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/certificados/ is used. natural-person/verify-status
With this application it is possible to consult the public data stored in the DNIe 3.0 or higher, including the status and validity date of the authentication and signature certificates included in it. This query is carried out using an NFC connection and without the need to communicate with any service external to the app.
It is possible to validate the status and validity date of a digital certificate installed on the device, using the official FNMT service.
It is possible to consult the data of any electronic identification document or passport that complies with the ICAO MRTD standard that allows the consultation of its public data using NFC and without the need to communicate with any service external to the app.
Biometric comparison of the identity of the holder of the electronic identity document consulted from the app is allowed, by comparing the photo contained in the document with a selfie taken by the user.
In order to use this application with the DNIe, it is necessary to have the electronic DNI 3.0 or higher and a mobile device with Android operating system and NFC. It is also possible to use a Digital Certificate without having to have an electronic DNI 3.0 or higher or a device with NFC.
