Scan terrain slope and elevation profiles with your phone

Terrain Profiler turns your Android phone into a simple terrain profiling tool. Walk a route and the app builds an elevation/slope profile in real time, helping you visualize how the ground rises and falls along the path.

**What you can do**

* Create a terrain/elevation profile by walking from start to finish
* See a clear chart of height changes and slopes as you move
* Run forward and return passes to compare results and reduce drift
* Save scans with a custom name and timestamp for later review
* Switch units (meters/feet) and tune calibration settings for your device

**How it works**
Terrain Profiler uses on-device motion tracking (AR) together with phone sensors (such as the barometer and IMU) to estimate relative height changes along your route and draw a smooth terrain profile.

**Great for**

* Quick on-site checks of surface slopes and grade changes
* Planning and documenting routes, paths, and site conditions
* Construction and field work where a fast “good-enough” profile is useful

**Important note about accuracy**
This app provides *approximate, relative* measurements. Results depend on the device model, sensor quality, lighting conditions, and how you walk the route. Terrain Profiler is not a certified surveying instrument.
