Established in 2011 as Wealth Channel TV, the company was founded for its advocacy on financial literacy until it was re-branded into MyTV Cebu during its inauguration last September 8, 2014.
Back then, MyTV Cebu, which aired on Sky Cable Channel 30 and Parasat Cable Channel 28, was mainly a lifestyle channel that catered to a variety of topics including travel, food, sports, entertainment, social events, politics and business.
In 2022, it grew further to focus on the digital space, and although it ended its partnership with SkyCable, it expanded through its social media channels on Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram, as well as through its website, mytv.ph, which streams all its current shows online.
The channel has retained majority of its existing shows, but it has now included news items in its daily content, to cater to the audience’s growing demand for real-time information.
