App Description

Application of a digital tour of four islands: Ikaria, Patmos, Fourni, Oinousses

The SmartTourAegean application is a digital tour application and includes four (4) routes of the islands: Ikaria, Patmos, Fourni, Oinousses (1 route for each island). The user can be guided to the points of the routes, see photos and videos, read the information of the points. The content of the application is the same as the platform https://aegean.smartour.gr/. It is an innovative application that enhances the user experience through the provision of digital content, offline maps, the possibility of a personalized tour according to the user's wishes, etc. The user can choose either directly the predefined route, or save his favorite points and create his own application. In addition, the application enables the scanning of QR codes. The application includes notifications when the user passes by an attraction that has been specially marked. In addition, the application includes a virtual tour guide, available at some points for which the user is informed about the possibility of an audio tour through Augmented Reality. It is possible to chat with other users via the SMART TOUR Facebook page.
