ArtBrut22 is much more than a simple artistic project: it is an experience that transforms and enriches people, giving space to authentic art, capable of bringing out deep emotions. Born within the PHOENIX GROUP, which manages psychiatric rehabilitation facilities, and curated by Pasquale Rubino, this project is developed with the aim of promoting social inclusion paths and improving the quality of life through art.
Imagine a collective of artists who come from completely different life experiences and paths, united however by the desire to give expression to complex experiences and to share their art with the world. This is ArtBrut22: a place where art has no rigid rules, but is a space of creative freedom and experimentation.
Our Factory, located at the Phoenix Day Center in Rutigliano (Bari), is a stimulating environment with workshops dedicated to painting, sculpture and video art, where each artist can express their vision and be inspired. But ArtBrut22 doesn't stop there: we have created a widespread art gallery within the rehabilitation facilities of the Phoenix Group, making the works accessible to all, so that art can truly become a collective and inclusive experience.
And for those who want to bring a piece of this extraordinary creativity into their lives, ArtBrut22 also has an e-commerce platform, financed by the PUGLIA REGION, where it is possible to discover and purchase unique works. Art here is not just a personal expression, but a powerful means of involving the community, creating public art events and breaking down the barriers that often separate us.
What makes ArtBrut22 special is the path that led us to evolve from an art therapy activity to a form of free artistic expression. We have learned to create together, enhancing both individual projects and group collaborations, to give life to an art that not only tells of pain and suffering, but which also knows how to heal, unite and give hope.
