App Description
Easy-to-use application for organizing the products in your Pantry
The main functionality
You can organise and keep track of what's in your pantry at home with (or without) barcodes, making it easier to shop: you'll know how much of what you have at home. It is possible to associate several barcodes to one product (for example, if you have several types of sugar at home, it is still "sugar"). This is what the "merging" function means.
Grouping
You can group products into so-called sections for easier management, but you can also easily move items between them.
Furthermore, you can use categories to organize your products and help you find them more easily.
Registration is mandatory
To use the app, you must register with an email address and a password. Your data is, therefore, not stored on your device but in a central database. So, you need an internet connection to use the application. Registration is only required to access the database securely.
Images
It is also possible to take pictures of products, but these will not live on your phone but in the central database mentioned above. Therefore taking pictures may generate data usage and may take up space on your phone.
Shopping lists
The app enables to create basic and smart shopping lists, which can be helpful during the actual shopping. Compared to basic lists, smart shopping lists are linked to your Pantry, so you can add all the products you have bought to your sections with a click without having to scan them one by one.
Recipes
In addition to keeping track of your products, you can also store your recipes in one place. You can easily add your most complex recipes while also attaching a picture, and the "Cooking Mode" makes it simple to see the recipe as you cook.
