Purpose and concept of GuruWalk
The purpose of GuruWalk is to raise awareness of this alternative to paid tours by connecting free tour guides (Gurus) and tourists, thus promoting local development and sustainable tourism.
We want to improve or equal the quality of traditional paid tours, thanks to the concept of "free tour", in which the tourist pays the guide the amount he/she wants depending on how satisfied he/she is with the tour.

Our app uses foreground service functionality to enable guides and travelers to share their location in real-time safely and efficiently. This allows for:
Real-time location: Displaying the traveler's and guide's positions on a map while on the move, ensuring they can easily find each other.
Seamless experience: Keeping the functionality active even when the app is in the background to avoid interruptions dur
