All of this is possible by simply dropping a virtual box onto real locations. These boxes automatically appear on a map and can be seen publicly, by a private group, or only by yourself. You can share these maps (which we call 'Spaces') with others. People can engage with your boxes on a map and in reality when they pass near that place, through AR.

In Auglinn, you can:

- Explore interesting and useful information about nearby locations across various topics and interests (like locations of famous movie scenes, outdoor gyms, child-friendly restaurants, pet-friendly cafes, buildings with a story, best fishing spots etc.)

- Collect favorite spots and suggestions of your friends and influencers, and unearth hidden gems with exclusive maps curated by communities.

- View ideas, requests, feedback or plans from communities organized around a topic about a place.

- Witness memories and stories of the people you care about on locations, seeing the world through different eyes.

- Take professional notes and conduct surveys about a site while you are outdoors.

- Submit complaints and suggestions to your local government without the need to describe the address or attach a photo.

- Answer questions from municipalities, universities, and companies about different locations, some of which may offer rewards.


How you use it:

DROP A NOTE (social or individual):

Place a virtual note box outside. Your notes can be your ideas, stories, knowledge, suggestions, feedback, or just personal notes about a location. When you drop your box, the app automatically takes a photo, and you can add one more photo if you like.

You can keep your note to yourself, or post it to 'Spaces' (different worlds created by others based on interests). You can choose a time for your note to expire as well. Once it expires, your note becomes visible only to yourself.

DROP A QUESTION:

Place a virtual question box outside with your question and answer choices, and post it to a space. Municipalities and companies may use this as a remote survey, which can be used as a poll about a specific place (like the hygiene of a toilet or a queue in front of a store).


CREATE SPACES:

You can create your own space, which can be public, view-only, or private.

Each space is a world. Your space is your world. Feel free to design your space the way you like, with the type of notes that you want!

Explore the spaces and the boxes nearby on a map or in augmented reality. Find boxes based on interests, share experiences, and engage with like-minded individuals.
