A sophisticated banking environment that features a cyber defence centre

• The game is based on the design of a sophisticated banking environment that features a cyber defence centre tasked with countering the cyberattacks targeting bank employees. The centre is equipped with a set of relevant elements, such as computers, smartphones, surveillance cameras, and internet receivers.
• The participant assumes the role of a cybersecurity specialist at the bank’s cyber defence centre and, throughout the game, is confronted with successive cyberattacks targeting the bank’s network. These attacks must be prevented by answering cybersecurity-related questions correctly.
• The participant moves through the bank environment and the defence centre to identify areas of cyber risk and potential threats. When confronted with a specific cyber threat, a question related to the expected risk appears. The participant must answer the question correctly to prevent the threat, obtain a security token, and continue playing.
• By correctly answering the questions in the first level, the participant prevents a number of cybercrimes and earns a collection of points (coins), enabling progression to the next levels of the game. The game comprises four levels of increasing difficulty.
• The later levels of the game explore additional floors within the bank, such as the first, second, third, and fourth floors.
• If the participant answers a question incorrectly, they fail to stop the cyberattack. However, they are granted additional attempts to answer again, but with a reduced number of points.
• By the end of the game, the bank’s cyber defence network is completely secured, having addressed all security vulnerabilities.
