A Solitaire Card Game With Soul

Welcome to Soulitaire - Ikoni Studio’s rendition of the timeless card game solitaire (also known as Klondike or Patience). We specialize in infusing elements of African, African American and Caribbean history and culture into classic everyday games. We figure that everything is better when a little bit of flavor, spice and style is added to it. We like to say we put the “SOUL” in solitaire!

SOULFUL ELEMENTS: Playing Cards

We celebrate African, African American and Caribbean cultures all throughout the game. One of the most obvious are the playing card foregrounds and backgrounds. Soulitaire offers players 4 different card foregrounds, 3 of which feature beautiful images of Black royalty.

Our card backgrounds offer even more variety. You can pick flags from over a dozen African nations as backgrounds for your playing cards. These countries include Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Eritrea, Senegal, etc. We haven’t forgotten about our Caribbean brothers and sisters! They can choose national flags as well, including flags from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Puerto Rico, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, etc.

The game includes even more options for playing card backgrounds, from African prints and patterns to backgrounds that celebrate African American fraternities and sororities. There is a little something for everyone!


SOULFUL ELEMENTS: Game Backgrounds

The celebration of soul doesn’t stop with the playing cards, it extends also to the game’s backgrounds. You can select from more than two dozen unique game backgrounds. Many of the backgrounds feature illustrations of beautiful Black characters living a carefree wonderful life.

You can pick a beautiful Caribbean woman in her carnival costume, another island gal enjoying her time swimming in the ocean, young friends enjoying a day at the amusement park, etc. There is also a rainbow of colorful backgrounds to choose from as well as a series of backgrounds paying homage to African American fraternities and sororities. Just like the playing card options, there is a little something for everyone here too!
