==================================
Speech Therapy Step 5 is the voice-controlled speech therapy app designed to help your child practice speaking in an engaging educational environment.
HOW IT WORKS?
Parents and therapists record videos of model words and sentences. These videos are incorporated into exercises encouraging children to mirror words’ pronunciation. A proprietary AI algorithm measures similarity between model words and children’s vocalizations. Improvements are rewarded with reinforcers and PlayTime. This technique was demonstrated to improve speech production in toddlers, late talkers (speech delay), children with Apraxia of Speech, Stuttering, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dysarthria.

SCIENTIFICALLY-PROVEN LEARNING TECHNIQUES
Speech Therapy Step 5 uses video modeling to create an immersive learning environment, allowing children to observe their parents on video as children attempt to speak. When children watch model videos in real time, their MIRROR NEURONS are engaged. This is scientifically proven to be highly effective in speech development.

PREVERBAL CHILDREN
For preverbal children please search your app store for SPEECH THERAPY STEP 1. Speech Therapy Step 1 enables children use their voice to interact with characters on the screen: animals, lights, stars, and other objects. Speech Therapy Step 1 has been developed to help your child control his voice. As he sits in his usual shelter, he will hear a calm, quiet, and affectionate voice calling on him to respond. On the screen, everything is calm, safe, and predictable. He raises his voice to affect movement: to fly the balloon, to blow off leaves, interact with animated characters and so on. Controlling objects on the screen makes him more confident using his voice. Once confidence has been built, we can move to more complex exercises like Speech Therapy Step 5 to shape his articulate speech and Language Therapy (Mental Imagery Therapy for Autism or MITA) to train his language and cognition.
