Vehicle Usage Records App

An app to manage car usage records, including mileage and usage purposes

You can record and manage the starting mileage, ending mileage, and usage category (business, private, or other) whenever you use a car, motorcycle, or similar vehicle.
By entering refueling amounts and fuel volume, you can check fuel efficiency and calculate the portion of gasoline expenses attributable to business use (the apportioned amount).
For sole proprietors who use their personal vehicles for both business and private purposes, this app can serve as a usage logbook (*) and makes it easy to confirm apportioned gasoline expenses based on mileage.
*Use as a logbook is intended for Japan. For use in the United States, please review the notes provided.
You can register up to five reminder patterns to prevent missed entries. Each pattern can have customized message text.

① Input Functions
- Start of use (vehicle, usage category, starting mileage, etc.; includes differential entry function)
- End of use (ending mileage, refueling amount, destination, etc.; includes continuous use function)

② Confirmation Functions
- List display (filtering, sorting, bulk deletion, CSV export)
└ Detailed usage record display (delete, edit)
- Refueling information check (total mileage, business mileage, apportioned refueling cost, average fuel efficiency, etc.)

*English (JP) uses Japanese-style units only (currency ⇒ yen, fuel volume ⇒ L, distance ⇒ km, fuel efficiency ⇒ km/L).

[Notes]
- It is recommended to start recording from a full tank of fuel when first using the app. If recording begins with a partially filled tank, accurate apportioned amounts and fuel efficiency cannot be calculated.
- Entered data is managed only within the app. There is no cloud backup function. Data cannot be transferred when changing devices, nor restored if the app is accidentally deleted. Regular CSV export is recommended for backup.
- If you change the language setting midway, previously entered numerical values will not be converted (e.g., km ⇔ miles).
- In the United States, deducting automobile-related expenses for personal taxation requires records that meet the requirements set by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This app can manage some of the required records, such as dates and mileage, but does not guarantee compliance with all requirements. Use of app-entered data for tax purposes is at the sole responsibility of the user.
