Ratih Purwasih (born in Cilegon, 1 April 1966) is an Indonesian singer who was popular in the '80s.
Is the younger brother of the famous singer Endang S. Taurina, this is what made it easier for him to have a career in the national music industry. Not surprisingly, when releasing the first album titled "Between hate and longing", in 1986, Endang's figure still needed to be displayed on the back cover to show that the two of them were indeed brother and sister. Ratih's voice tends to be soft, and is suitable for the sweet pop genre, like the great songwriter Obbie Mesakh, which was booming at that time.
Obbie's mainstay song created immediately launched on the market, perhaps because the lyrics line was catchy: "Which... it rained again..." This song became a big hit that immediately made the name Ratih become a much-loved singer.
