Balloon Safari is a minimalist endless runner built around simple, clear mechanics and a strong thematic core. The game takes place in a stylized safari environment where the main character — a cheerful balloon wearing a hat — constantly moves forward through an ever-changing path of obstacles.

The core gameplay is based on automatic forward movement. The player controls only one action: jumping. Precise timing is essential, as obstacles appear with increasing frequency and require quick reactions. The character has three lives. Each collision with an obstacle removes one life, and the game session ends once all lives are lost.

Distance is the main measurable result of each run. Every meter traveled is counted and added to the record system. Progress matters: the best distance achieved is saved automatically and remains stored even if the game is interrupted. Leaving to the main menu or closing the application does not erase the achieved record, ensuring continuity between sessions.

Balloon Safari is designed with user behavior in mind. When the application is minimized or the player switches to another app, the game automatically pauses and displays a pause window. This guarantees that no progress is lost unintentionally. Upon returning, the player must manually close the pause window to resume the run, keeping full control over the gameplay flow.

The safari theme defines the visual and emotional tone of Balloon Safari. Clean visuals, readable obstacles, and a focused interface support the fast-paced experience while maintaining clarity and accessibility.
