The development of the Coastal Location Service is based on a system originally developed for the use of security authorities, the operation of which must be secured in critical work and demanding conditions.

The beaches are suitable for all tasks that require real-time positioning, such as hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling, flying, etc.

In the Ranniot map program, you can download accurate vector map data from Finland, Sweden and Norway to your phone at once. Using data and locating your own location is always possible in flight mode with the help of GPS. Determining your location, search capabilities, and routing on the map also work without network connections.

Thanks to 100% OFFLINE vector map technology, guy and device locations also work well in the area of ​​a slower mobile network (2G), as only the location information of the devices is transferred via the mobile network to the map application.

You can conveniently connect the locators you have acquired to the Ranniot map program with a QR code, which can be read directly with the Ranniot program. The wrist locator can easily adjust the positioning interval from 3 minutes to 1 week. You can also add the phone as a locating device and adjust the phone locating interval from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. For example, you can place your phone in a dog’s vest so you can track your dog in real time without interfering with your dog’s activities at all.

You can also view the track of the locators on the map. The locations of animals and equipment and alarm information from a device that has been stationary for a long time are also displayed in the Ranniot map application.

BEACHES The locator is reliable, small and light (90g). The locator is inexpensive and maintenance-free, and does not require a SIM card. BEACHES You can replace the batteries in the locator yourself. BEACHES The locator is also suitable for smaller dogs.
You can track phones (vehicle, person, animal) every few seconds.

RANNIOT The locators use a new wireless IoT data transmission network built by Digita in Finland, which makes the power consumption of the locating devices very low and thus the operating times on batteries long. BEACHES Locators do not use mobile networks and do not require SIM cards!

The use of a telephone as a locator requires a device Internet connection, which can be obtained cheaply directly from mobile telephone operators.
