CIOG - Inter-hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Course

Dear partners:

I take advantage of the situation to greet you, congratulate you on the work done during the pandemic and hope that you are all well.

After much thought, I thought it was time to resume our scientific meetings after the worst of the pandemic had passed. We have made an effort to make it possible and have explored new ways, which are sure to be here to stay.

Sure, no digital platform is capable of replacing personal contact, but technology allows us to get very close to it. We have maintained the same format as always, with four tables with different presentations and with a moderate discussion at renowned expert tables. The format will be interactive, with the possibility of live questions and evaluations of the talks. All this in an active and flexible format, with online attendance control. On the other hand, this online format will allow us to expand the offer to many more colleagues, something that previously we could not do due to the limited space in our headquarters.

As always, this is possible due to the totally disinterested generosity of a large number of hospitals in the Community of Madrid and their department heads, to whom I am and will be deeply grateful.

For those of you who are new to the format, explain that there are no sponsored presentations and that the pharmaceutical industry participates to support the course. As an already traditional element, you will be able to vote for the best paper, granting the winning resident doctor a prize consisting of a travel bag.

I hope that the enthusiasm and affection that we put into the course is reflected in a good reception by all.

On the website you will also find the summary of the course from the previous year, and after a few days we will post the edited course for this year.
