📖 The Book of Al-Tibyan fi Adab Hamlet al-Qur'an by al-Nawawi 📖

By Abu Zakariya Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Hizami al-Nawawi al-Shafi'i, known as al-Nawawi

Enjoy reading Al-Tibyan fi Adab Hamlet al-Qur'an by al-Nawawi with the Books and Stories app, offline, and many other features.

Al-Tibyan fi Adab Hamlet al-Qur'an is a book that covers the etiquette required of those who memorize the Holy Qur'an, descriptions of its memorizers and students, the etiquette of teaching the Qur'an, the virtue of reciting it, and the honors God has prepared for the people of the Qur'an.

It also addresses the etiquette that Qur'an teachers and learners should adhere to, the etiquette related to reading, and which verses and surahs a Muslim should recite at specific times and in specific circumstances. It also discusses how to write the Qur'an, how to pronounce it correctly, and other topics that are essential for every Muslim.

The book is distinguished by its mention of the issues and fiqh rulings that pertain to the Qur'an, or are closely or remotely related to it, according to the four schools of jurisprudence. Not all issues are mentioned according to the schools of jurisprudence. Sometimes, the statements of the imams of three schools are mentioned, but not the fourth, with differences between the nonexistent ones. The author does not limit himself to mentioning the schools of jurisprudence alone, but also includes the opinions of other scholars on fiqh rulings, such as Muhammad ibn Sirin, al-Hasan al-Basri, Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, Abu Thawr, Abdullah ibn Umar, Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Ishaq ibn Rahawayh, Abu Bakr ibn al-Mundhir, and many others, too numerous to list. The book contains all the fiqh rulings pertaining to the Qur'an, without exception, both near and far, both those that come to mind for the seeker of knowledge and those that do not.

Author:
Abu Zakariya Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Hizami al-Nawawi al-Shafi'i (631 AH-1233 CE / 676 AH-1277 CE), better known by the name "al-Nawawi" He is a Muslim hadith scholar, jurist, and linguist, and one of the most prominent Shafi'i jurists. He is famous for his numerous books and compilations in jurisprudence, hadith, language, and biographies, such as Riyad as-Salihin, Al-Arba'in an-Nawawi, Minhaaj as-Talibin, and Ar-Rawdah. He is described as the editor, refiner, corrector, and organizer of the Shafi'i school of thought, as the practice among Shafi'i jurists is based on what An-Nawawi prefers. Al-Nawawi is called the Sheikh of the Shafi'is. When the term "the two Sheikhs" is used among the Shafi'is, it refers to al-Nawawi and Abu al-Qasim al-Rafi'i al-Qazwini.

❇️ Some reviews of al-Tibyan fi Adab Hamalat al-Qur'an by al-Nawawi ❇️

▪️ Source for reviews: www.goodreads.com/ar/book/show/10499815▪️

- This book has a very special meaning for me. I experienced wonderful moments with it and traveled to other worlds, even though it only discusses the etiquette of reciting the Qur'an and how the righteous predecessors would sometimes complete the Qur'an in a week, sometimes in three days, or sometimes in a single night. It also emphasizes the importance of preserving what was memorized before starting a new one, and of making it a daily portion so that it would not be forgotten. I learned many etiquettes, and with the comments and notes, I would smile at times and reflect at other times. I expect that every reader of the Qur'an should read this book, especially those who have memorized it and those who have memorized it. Oh God! Make us among those who memorize Your Book and grant us the ability to recite it during the night and day. O Allah, remind us of what we have forgotten and teach us what we do not know. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.

- One of the fruits of sincerity is that knowledge spreads after the death of its author. May Allah have mercy on Imam al-Nawawi and grant us sincerity in word and deed. I studied this book in a course on Islamic studies. It is one of the essential books in any Islamic studies course.

- A very, very nice book. Every Muslim who reads the Quran should read it. It is full of general etiquette for learning, teaching, and memorizing the Quran. It discusses the virtues of reading the Quran and its etiquette, and everything related to the Holy Quran, with short chapters and a precise style. It is one of the books that has an impact on behavior, feelings, and faith. I highly recommend it.
