Piadina Ciliegia: a family that produces artisan piadine since 1979

We are a family that produces artisan piadine since 1979. It all started with a food business located at the exit of the Super Strada Ferrara-Mare, on the S.S.Romea.
I was still a child, I was only 11 when I was already starting to knead the first wraps. I have always worked with great passion and I have always wanted to listen to the advice of our customers in order to arrive at a finished product that meets all needs and tastes.
The requests increased and from the simple occasional customer, we moved on to the customers of the supermarket and the beach clubs.
Traveling to various parts of the world, I brought home new ideas for my activities, including the freshness-saving ZIP closure for the packaging from which I took inspiration in the United States and which is still used today in our packaging , as it is very suitable and easy to open / close for the customer.
After opening several points in the Lidos of Comacchio, I decided to open a production laboratory for wholesale with delivery throughout Italy.
Our turnover increases every year with great satisfaction, as we are within several food chains of the Italian GDO that increase orders weekly.
Our goal is to create a handmade product with Italian ingredients different from the competition and unique.
