App Description

Polaris WFM manages field work, inspections, tickets, media capture, and sync.

Polaris WFM is a field workforce application built to support technicians working on-site with equipment such as smart meters and electrical infrastructure. The app guides technicians through their daily tasks, inspections, and issue resolution workflows in a structured and easy-to-use manner.
Technicians use Polaris WFM to view assigned jobs and tickets, inspect smart meters and related assets, and record detailed observations directly from the field. During inspections, they can enter readings, note faults, select issue types, and add remarks that describe the condition of the equipment or site.
The app allows technicians to capture photos and videos as evidence of meter conditions, wiring issues, seals, displays, or any abnormalities found on site. Media is attached to specific tasks so supervisors and backend systems have clear visual proof of the work performed. GPS location capture ensures that inspections and repairs are verified at the correct site.
Polaris WFM is designed for real-world field conditions, including poor or unavailable network connectivity. Technicians can complete their work offline, save progress locally, and continue to the next job without interruption. Once connectivity is restored, all completed work, including media files, is automatically synchronized to the server in the background.
