Brief information about the author
Imam Nawawi was born in the month of Muharram, 631 AH, in a place called Nawa in the town of Havran, east of Damascus.

Rabbani was a scholar and was known in the world as a hermit, a heavy, humble and great man. He did not deviate from the path of truth even for a moment in obedience to God, and enjoined good and forbade evil. He admonished the rulers and did not fear reproach in the way of God.

He died in Nawa on the 24th day of the month of Rajab in 676 AH. The location of his grave is still unknown. He died at the age of 45. During this short life, he lived a blessed life, spending his life in worship, obedience, learning and teaching. It is said that he passed away without getting married. Because he lived a very poor life.

Imam al-Nawawi wrote very valuable works in this blessed life. Everyone who reads his works is fascinated by the genius of this scientist.
