WHAT IS A SCIENCE AND ART CENTER (BILSE)?
The Science and Art Center is an independent special education institution opened outside of school hours to provide support education to students who attend formal education institutions and who are identified as having special talents in the field of general talent (mental), visual arts or music, in order to develop and use their talents at the highest level. is an educational institution.
Science and Art Centers are not an alternative educational institution to formal schools, but an educational institution that supports formal education institutions.

WHAT CLASSES DOES STUDENTS ACCEPT IN THE SCIENCE AND ART CENTER?
Every year, the Ministry determines which grade levels students will be admitted to the Science and Art Center. In line with the decision of the Ministry, in 2016-2017, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades were diagnosed.

HOW DOES THE STUDENT PURCHASE PROCESS WORK?
In order to determine the gifted students to be admitted to the Science and Art Centers, within the framework of the diagnosis calendar determined by the Ministry every year, students from the grade levels determined by the Ministry are identified as gifted candidates in the field of general talent (mental), visual arts or music by the classroom teachers via e-school using the observation forms prepared by the Ministry. is displayed.
Students nominated as candidates are taken to the group screening exam prepared by the Ministry on a date determined by the Ministry.
According to the results of the group screening exam, students who pass the threshold scores determined by the Ministry every year for each grade level throughout Turkey are taken into individual examination by certified experts. In self-examination, students are given a valid, reliable and standardized intelligence test.
Students who have been nominated in the field of visual arts and/or music talent and who pass the threshold points determined by the Ministry every year for visual arts and music talent fields according to the results of the group screening exam are taken into individual examination in the field of visual arts and/or music talent by the Provincial Identification Commission.
According to the results of the individual examinations made in all three areas, the students who pass the Turkish threshold determined by the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services for each grade level and for each skill field, are registered to the Science and Art Center.
